Dhruva Krishna - Show Booker Extraordinaire

Hi everyone! My name is Dhruva Krishna and I'm a proud member of FoundSound Music! I originally started as an intern, primarily interviewing local personalities. However, I've now taken over a lot of the booking for FoundSound and I'm super excited to bring Pittsburgh unique live music experiences! Outside of FoundSound I'm an active musician in the local scene. I play in several groups including Manic Soul, Eastend Mile, Sweet Earth and I write my own music. Chances are if I'm not running a show I'm probably playing one. Feel free to introduce yourself to me if you see me at a show. I'd love to meet you.

Kate Drozynski - Editor-In-Chief

Kate is graduate of the Goldring Arts Journalism master’s program at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication who found a constructive way to channel her obsessive yammering about music into real stories. You can find her words published at Esquire.com, NPR Music, MTV News, Bitch Magazine, the Aspen Festival Focus, the Pulizer Prize-winning Charleston Post & Courier, Jerk Magazine, the South Hills Almanac, the Syracuse Post Standard, Green Room Reviews and more.

Roger Romeo - The Staff Writer

No relation to George Romero, unfortunately. It's super dope that I get to be on the FoundSound team writing album previews and concert reviews. The local music scene in Pittsburgh is tremendously welcome and lovely. I'm just glad to be an active part of it! Live music is my lifeblood. Mostly, I play saxophone in the alt-jazz/jazz fusion band called Eastend Mile. When I'm not playing music, I spend a lot if time listening to jazz tunes and slowly weeping to Chance the rapper's Coloring Book. When I'm not into music at all, I read comic books and play Pokemon on my 3DS.

Samantha Ward - The Designer/ DIY-er

Samantha Ward graduated from Carnegie Mellon University, where she discovered her love for live music, marketing, and event planning. She worked for Performer Magazine in Boston, Pittsburgh City Paper's music section, and served as the editor-in-chief of Carnegie Mellon's music magazine, The Cut. Before leaving Pittsburgh for Boston, she was booking concerts in a giant bubble tent around parks. When she's not working on FoundSound, she's probably on a roof somewhere, or biking to a show.

Sam Suter - The Videographer

Sam Bio.jpg

Sam is the second Sam to be part of the FoundSound Team. He does the majority of the film work and takes a lot of the pictures. He's shot music videos, Kickstarter video, worked on sets for short fils as well as live, in-studio videos in both New York and Pittsburgh. When he's not doing videography or photography work he bartends at Soba in Shadyside and tried to think of ways to combine his love of music, film, food and drink.
